and#8220;Picture the coolest brasserie in your hometown, thatand#8217;s what this is,and#8221; Bon Jovi told New York magazine about his new restaurant and#8216;Jon Bon Joviand#8217;s Soul Kitchenand#8217; that opened in Redbank in New Jersey last Wednesday. and#8220;Itand#8217;s the hottest-looking restaurant in this town.and#8221;

Well, it might look hot, but you donand#8217;t have to be a celebrity to eat there, far from it. You can actually choose to pay what you think is fair for your meal or volunteer your services instead.

and#8220;At a time when one in five households are living at or below the poverty level, and at a time when one out of six Americans is food insecure, this is a restaurant whose time has come,and#8221; Bon Jovi said. and#8220;This is a place based on and built on community – by and for the community.and#8221;

What do you think? Would you pay or wash dishes in the kitchen?
